Who We Are What We Do About St. Luke's News & Events Growth & Learning Music Resources

Music at St. Luke's exists to lead people in the worship of God, to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to provide for the musical training and Christian formation of children and adults, and to enrich the cultural life of the community. St. Luke's esteemed music program includes the congregation, the Choir of Men and Boys, the Girls Choir and Adult Schola, and the Saint Luke's Singers. The restored St. Luke's Organ, built by Ernest M. Skinner in 1922, is world renowned. In addition to providing music for worship, the choirs are known internationally for their recordings, and tours of Germany (2004) and Great Britain (2003).
