AN EVENING WITH DEXTER KENNEDY

May 5@7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

$25 - $30
It’s not often that an American wins the prestigious Chartres International Organ Competition. In fact, it happens only once in a generation. Held in France, the competition is usually won by a European organist from an elite group of virtuoso contestants. But in 2014, Detroit-born Dexter Kennedy blew the roof off the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and won going away, giving America its first Chartres Organ competition winner in 18 years. Since that triumph 3 years ago, Kennedy has been busy concertizing all over the world, dazzling audiences with his virtuoso technique and consummate musicianship.
