Loving Touch Infant Massage Class with Reenie

Parents who learn the art of Infant Massage report feeling more comfortable and confident in their ability to care for baby and understand and respond to baby’s cues. Infant Massage is one of the most natural and pleasant methods of providing important early nurturing and is an amazing tool for helping parents become closer to their babies. There are many benefits to massaging your baby, such as: the release of oxytocin, known as the love hormone, in both parent and child; releases prolactin which promotes milk production in the mother; and endorphins, which support bonding, relaxation and growth. Infant Massage helps babies handle sensory stimulation and helps caregivers respond in a more relaxed manner to baby’s needs. It aids in better sleep, by assisting in the regulation of the sleep/wake cycle and stimulates all the systems of the body (nervous, circulatory, respiratory, elimination and immune). Most importantly, it’s fun!

Sessions are scheduled periodically throughout the year.

$35 Per family  / Free to all St. Luke's pledging members

Keeping God’s People Safe

The St. Luke’s community is committed to maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere for our children and youth. To foster a secure environment, we provide Keeping God’s People Safe training to all who work with our children and youth, including church school teachers, mentors, clergy, and staff. This training sensitizes us to the dangers of child sexual abuse and teaches us to recognize and prevent situations in which abuse or exploitation might occur. Please contact the parish office if you have any questions regarding this training.
